Weekend Fun...

So we had a relaxing weekend....its was GREAT! The kids are itching to go swimming and don't understand that the water is too cold, and we have to wait for the weather to warm up so it heats up the water. They still enjoyed being outside though. Man are they growing up fast, Chloe is loving her new bike that she got for Christmas, and is cruising up and down the sidewalk, with Evan trailing behind on his tricycle.
My little baby is getting so big....Look at his little 'dirty' tootsies....Go Chloe GO!..... Eat my dust Evan...What a cool chick.....The little stud muffin....Who's kids are these?....In Daddy's shoes.......This child sure is a goofy one...does she like the camera or what?!?

Till next time...Have a great week!

Hangin' with the Shubins and some EXCITING NEWS!

So I think the funniest way I have ever heard my name called was from the mouth of a three year old ethiopian boy.....yelling my name....Sarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah! Mind you, that the 'R' is rolled perfectly. He's a hoot for sure. The kids are loving there new little friend, and we are all glad for him to finally be home. He fits right in! He got to try peanut butter and jelly for the first time at our house, and he seemed to like it alright....what do you think?

No laughing at the picture of me, but the little man likes cameras and getting his picture taken.

Later the kids watched a movie, Evan fell asleep, and Silas couldn't get enough popcorn.

And for the EXCITING NEWS!!!....EVAN is potty trained!! YES you read correctly...I no longer have to change a 2 years old diapers! Wahoo!!! (doens't mean I'm not ready to have another baby though!) Hes pretty proud of himself, and so are we! YEAH EVAN!

And this last pic is of Damon teaching the kids pushups...A bit of daddy's boot camp you might say. I love how the cartoon on the TV in the background has a picture of a guy looking like hes ordering them around! HA HA!

They're Home!

One chapter in their lives is over, and a new one begins. The Shubins absolutley love their new son and brother. He's just adorable! He has a cute personality and will fit right in. He's not shy what so ever, and was talking up a storm to everyone.
If you want to see more pics of when they first got the meet Silas in Ethiopia, or pics of Ethiopia check Erica's blog here http://journeyofourhearts.blogspot.com

Chloes new achievement!

This silly girl of ours has been trying to do a headstand for a while and I finally gave her a hint. I told her that if she does it against the wall, that she kick her legs up and lean against the wall. This was the result.
