Girls just want to have fun!

So we went for a much needed girls night out. We ventured out to Westgate (where Super Bowl XLII is going to be) A few of us had never been down there, so it was a new adventure for us. We went to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville and got to sit in one of the 3 boats in the restaurant. We don't get to do this all the time, and when we do we have a blast!
The appetizers were huge, and Talia and I were HUNGRY!!

While we were there, I found out what I want to do for a new job... if I learn to walk on stilts, I can make balloon hats, and work at margaritaville with this nerdy guy. (Erica was being a Japanese tourist with my camera, and tried to take a quick pic of this fisherman on stilts, be he happened to notice, and totally posed for the pic. My guess is he got this alot) On a side note we happen to see this driving down the street, who packs a couch in a convertible Lebaron?...................this GUY!!

Congratulations!!!

I just wanted let everyone know whos reads my blog that our dear friends David and Erica are now parents of Silas Esubalew David Shubin. Everything went perfect, and they should travel to get him really soon! Isn't he precious!

Happy Birthday to Chloe

Today was Chloe's 4th Birthday! Oh my how the time has flown. My little baby girl is getting so big so fast! Today was one of those days were she felt like a "Big" girl to me. (no longer my little toddler) :( So the girlie wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday. After talking to her about what it was going to be like, and pinching her ears quite a few times, she still wanted to do it. Our birthday night out started at In-N-Out, the kids favorite cheeseburger place, cuz they get stickers, then off to the mall to get her ears pierced. She did SOOOO great! Not a single tear or drop of blood (mom was right, dad thought she was gonna cry...) She did jump a little when they did it, but it was so fast and they pulled a mirror out right away so she got excited to seem them. Afterwards we HAD to get Ice-cream from none other than Baskin Robbins to finish the night off. Happy Birthday Chloe!! So here's the

The visit with the families

We had a great time visiting family. I've posted a few random photos of our visit. From cooking to Ice-cream to playing with grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousin, our trip turned out to be one to remember. We have some more family photos with my brother and his new wife, I'll be sure to post those as soon as I get them. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and and great time ringing in the New Year. Happy 2008!
Chloe and Evan mixing some jello....Evan just wants to eat it..... whats new?!
Chloe enjoys "reading" to her stuffed animals...If you notice there pillows are pieces of Evans T-ball set.

We found a house that resembled the "Griswolds". The house was covered in lights. I don't think I would want there electric bill!

Papa had a surprise that Evan "thought" he wanted...

He wasn't quite sure what to do with the whip cream in his mouth...He wanted to spit it out.

I missed my Ice Cream

And so did the kids! :)
Chloe and her only cousin (right now) Grace. They were so excited to see each other.
This was just the cutest picture of her. I had to share it. Don't I have a cute niece!
Quality time with Auntie Sarah.

The whole family on Damon's side.
The four Crazzzzy brothers!

Our little family at Damon's parents.

Lets go up north!

So we decided to take a trip up to the Northwest and visit family. We had a great time, and had a blast visiting everyone. The drive really wasn't all that bad, and the kids did awesome.

This was the beautiful scenery over Mt. Shasta and the Siskoyou Summit.
My brother Jeremy kept the kids entertained for most of the way. It helped a lot.
We had to stop only once besides stopping for gas, because Evans legs, and little bum had fallen asleep. They both took a turn at pretending to drive, and then we were on our way.
